Parcel number: 063-087-25-0-30-04-006.00-0, Reference ID 2905. The 2017 taxes of $46.98 have not been paid. The total past due tax amount owed is approx. $461.00 as of 4-25-2018. This amount includes taxes from 2012 through 2017.  According to the Assessor, the Parcel is zoned residential and is a buildable lot with water and electricity. The picture below is of the general area NOT of this particular parcel. Kansas was admitted to the Union as a state in 1861. Independence was settled on land that was purchased from the Osage Indians in September 1869 by George A. Brown. The location where the Charles Ingalls family resided between 1869-1871 and is described in his daughter Laura Ingalls Wilder’s book “Little House on the Prairie” is designated as a historic site and is open to visitors.
