These Dolls are being sold as assets in a Bankruptcy Estate and are not being sold by a “Collector”. 

 We couldn’t find much information about either of these dolls. The tall Gotz doll has shoulder length light brown hair and hazel/brown glass eyes. Her head, upper body and lower arms and legs are made of vinyl. Her upper arms, upper legs and the area below her waist are made of stuffed fabric. There is a very light scratch on her right cheek which is only visible if you look closely at her. The numbers on the back of her head are 472-18. The shorter Gotz doll appears to be “Eileen”. She has long blonde hair and grayish blue glass eyes. The part of her body from her waist down to her upper thighs is made of stuffed fabric. The rest of her body and her head are made of vinyl. There is a very light scratch on her neck. The numbers on the back of her head are 532-16. We have Gotz boxes to package the dolls, though they are not necessarily the boxes made for these specific dolls.

The Gotz Puppenfabrik was founded in 1950 by Franz and Marianne Gotz in Rodental. Within a short period of time, the regional family factory developed into one of the leading doll manufacturers in the world. Today the company is led by the founders’ dauther Anke Gotz-Beyer and her husband Uwe Beyer. In addition to knowledge and experience, the family and employees introduce love for the dolls and their making, attention to detail and craftmanship. To make this goal known  the name was changed to Gotz Puppenmanufaktur in 2001.
