Two Cemetery Plots at Mount Emblem Cemetery (Grand Avenue & County Lane). Two rights of interment, Section F, Lot 1060, Graves 1 and 2. The plots together are currently valued at $10,790. Mount Emblem charges a $250 transfer fee, which may be waived if additional arrangements are made at the time of transfer, otherwise the transfer fee will be paid by the Seller. There is a $25 endowment care fund fee, payable by the Buyer. These plots were gifted to the church and we are trying to get them sold to benefit First United Church of Christ in Forest Park, Illinois.

This cemetery is a sanctuary in the heart of this bustling suburb of Chicago. Founded in 1925, Mount Emblem Cemetery occupies approximately 90 acres. With beautiful grounds, a lake and a windmill, it provides a peaceful and serene setting surrounded by large trees and lilac bushes. Adorned with both flush-to-the-ground and upright monuments, Mount Emblem Cemetery offers a staff with Spanish-speaking abilities as well as a special Veterans’ section, which features a Wall of Honor. Built in 1932 our Tudor Gothic Style Administrative building and Hope, Faith & Charity marble statuary also add to the appeal of the park.
