Parcel number: 01403.  According to the Assessor, the nearest cities to the property are Torreon & Estancia, NM (approx. 3 miles). The 2013 taxes of $23.13 have not been paid. The past due taxes are approx. $34.17 thru 6-30-14 (2013 taxes plus interest). The picture below is of the general area, not of this particular parcel.

Torrance County was created from the eastern part of Valencia County on March 16, 1903. The county was named for Francis J. Torrance, one of the promoters connected with the building of the New Mexico Central Railroad. Located in Estancia, N.M. the Heart of New Mexico. Torrance County is one of the most productive agricultural counties in the United States. Pinto beans, corn, alfalfa and pumpkins are just a small portion of the crops, which are harvested throughout the year. Torrance County is also home to the beautiful Manzano Mountains, Salinas National Monument and vast open, undisturbed rangeland which farmers, ranchers, and wildlife call home.
