This listing is for a limited edition serigraph print by the famous Impressionistic artist Leroy Neiman. This serigraph is titled “Baden-Baden”. It is signed by the artist, “Leroy Neiman” and is numbered as H.C. 206/225. This is an original limited edition serigraph: 375 numbered impressions, 100 artist proofs, 18 printer’s proofs and 225 hors commerce. The serigraph (43″ x 48″) is framed and measures 48″ x 53″. The serigraph and the frame appear to be in excellent condition (there are a few minor scratches on the top of the frame). Leroy Neiman depicts many famous people in the serigraph, including Himself, Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall, Truman Capote & Shelley Winters to name a few.
About the Artist: Leroy Neiman is considered one of the most famous impressionistic artists since the 1970s and his work is Internationally known and collected. Leroy Neiman was born on June 8, 1921 in St. Paul, MN. According to Mr. Neiman, he “sketched all the time and he drew what he saw”. He recently passed away on June 20, 2012.
